Ngabo Medard Jobert, popularly known as Meddy, and his wife Mimi Mehfira, who have just welcomed their second child. The couple shared the joyous news with their fans on the evening of Monday, April 28, 2025.

After previously sharing a photo hinting at the upcoming arrival, Meddy took to social media to officially announce the birth of their baby boy, whom they have named Zayn Ngabo.

Expressing his emotions, the singer posted a heartfelt message saying, “Surely God’s goodness and mercy shall follow me, the grace and mercy of God will always follow me Mimi @itsmimiali I love you.”

This comes after the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Myla Ngabo, who was born on March 22, 2022.

Meddy and Mimi tied the knot in May 2021 after a long-term relationship. Their wedding took place on Saturday, May 22, 2021, in Dallas, Texas, USA. The ceremony was attended by a host of Rwandan celebrities including King James, K8 Kavuyo, Shaffy, The Ben (who also performed for the couple), Adrien Misigaro, Miss Grace Bahati, and others.

Their love story first caught public attention in August 2017 and has continued to inspire many ever since.
