PSG makes history with first-ever Champions League victory

After years of chasing European glory, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) finally clinched their first UEFA Champions League title with a stunning 5–0 victory over Inter Milan in the final at the Allianz Arena.

The French giants, led by manager Luis Enrique, delivered a commanding performance that stunned fans and opponents alike. Goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, academy star Mayulu and a brace from Désiré Doué sealed the emphatic win. The result marks the largest margin of victory ever in a Champions League final.

This triumph is especially symbolic for PSG, who had been criticized for failing to win Europe’s top prize during the era of superstars like Neymar, Messi,Ramos and Mbappé. Ironically, it was after Mbappé’s departure to Real Madrid that PSG found their perfect balance — blending young talent, tactical discipline and team unity.

“We wrote history tonight,” said Luis Enrique. “This is a new PSG, one that believes in its youth, its identity, and playing beautiful football.”

The win also continues the “Law of Munich” — every Champions League final hosted in the German city has crowned a first-time winner including Chelsea who won their first Champions League trophy at the same venue.
