Renowned Rwandan journalist Paul Rutikanga, widely recognized as a prime news anchor on Rwanda Television (RTV), tied the knot with his fiancée Uwera Caroline in a beautiful wedding ceremony held this Friday, August 29, 2025 at Heaven Garden Rebero.

The wedding celebration came just days after the couple legally registered their marriage on August 26. Their journey to matrimony began earlier this year in May, when Rutikanga proposed to Uwera, presenting her with an engagement ring—an offer she joyfully accepted.

The ceremony was graced by several guests, including fellow journalists and colleagues from the Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA), where Rutikanga currently serves. The event was marked by heartfelt moments and vibrant celebrations, reflecting the couple’s joy and the support of their loved ones.

Paul Rutikanga has become a familiar face on national television, particularly known for anchoring the evening news in Kinyarwanda on Rwanda Television. His career in the media industry spans nearly a decade.

He began his journey at Cloud TV in 2016, before moving to TV10. In March 2017, he joined RBA, where he has since risen through the ranks. On November 5, 2024, Rutikanga was appointed as the Head of Partnerships and Collaboration at RBA, a testament to his professionalism and commitment to the field of journalism.
