Renowned Rwandan actress Bahavu Jannet Usanase marked her birthday on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in an intimate celebration held at the luxurious Château Le Marara. She was joined by her husband, Fleury Ndayirukiye, and their daughter, turning the day into a cherished family memory.The family arrived at Château Le Marara on Wednesday and planned to stay for four days, until Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Known for hosting exclusive retreats and celebrations, the location has recently been under scrutiny following complaints of poor service and overpriced packages during a high-profile wedding in June 2025. However, Fleury had only praise for their experience.“We were warmly welcomed, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the place was spotless… there is nothing to complain about. On the contrary, we are grateful for the care we received,”
Fleury told InyaRwanda.com.He revealed that they paid over \$220 per night for a room, a price they considered worth the value they received. The birthday celebration was filled with emotional moments, heartfelt speeches, and family bonding.In her emotional speech, Bahavu thanked God for allowing her to reach another year of life, surrounded by her husband and child. “I am truly grateful to God that I am not celebrating this day alone. He gave me a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. Above all, we are blessed to know God and understand that we are not on this Earth by accident, but to be witnesses of His work,” she said.Bahavu also expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her from the time she announced her engagement, through her journey in the film industry — with standout roles in productions such as Impanga Series , Bad Choice , Urukundo rw’inzitane, Isi Dutuye and others.
